Portapivot is a Belgian brand, created and engineered by the designers of ANYWAY doors. Portapivot offers its products as a self-assembly kit, specifically designed for interior professionals with international shipping by FedEx.

All prices are calculated in Euro (€) currency. Every order that ships outside Belgium (export) is exclusive of turnover tax and exclusive of any other government levies and/or taxes.


Worldwide shipping by FedEx

We exclusively use FedEx as our shipping partner because they operate as a closed circuit. The shipped products never leave their capable hands, from pick-up at our production facility, right up to delivery to your doorstep.

Shipping schedule:

 

Off-the-shelf products:

  • Seperatly ordered products such as Stealth Pivot sets, handles, Portapivot GLASS patch fittings,...
  • Your order will be shipped within 2-3 business days (after payment verification).

Made-to-measure products:

  • Made-to-measure products take around 3 production weeks before they are ready for shipping.
  • Then you should add the selected shipping times on top of that. Speed and price depend on product type, weight and final destination.

Shipping outside EU countries:

All displayed prices are exclusive of turnover tax and exclusive of any other government levies and/or taxes. All customs, import duties (and applicable tax) are arranged by FedEx and charged to you when your parcel reaches its destination.

ExWorks shipping:

In the check-out page you can choose ExWorks as a shipping method. We will confirm the exact pick-up address when your order is processed.

Please be aware that all the necessary arrangements in regards to shipping, insurance, handling, customs and tax are the responsabily of the recipient.

Payment of the total amount on your Pro Forma order overview is due to be paid within 10 business days.

When your payment is received and confirmed by our accounting services, we send you the corresponding invoice by email. If we haven’t received or been able to confirm the required payment of your corresponding order after 10 business days, your order will automatically be cancelled and will not reach production state.

The shipping and production schedule starts from the moment you receive your invoice. The invoice is sent after we received and verified the payment of your Pro Forma order overview.

Orders in Belgium: displayed prices are exclusive of turnover tax and exclusive of any other government levies and/or taxes.

  • 21% BTW is applicable on your order and calculated upon checkout.

2 year manufacturers Guarantee - Warranty

Portapivot will warrant and guarantee the proper performance of its products for a period of 2 years (24 months), following the date of your order receipt, provided that our products are installed in accordance with the instructions.

Complaints and warranty

All shipped orders and its accompanied products are required to be inspected upon arrival. We advise all our customers to check the delivered Portapivot items immediately upon delivery by FedEx. Any specific investigations required in that respect should be carried out within 5 business days.

Any complaints concerning your order or the delivered products should be reported to Portapivot in a well-documented manner and have to be on record and substantiated within 5 business days after delivery by FedEx. If the ordering Party fails to report a well-documented complaint within this term, it will be deemed to have approved the Products delivered and not to have objected these to Portapivot within a reasonable term.

 

Anodized aluminium

All our profiles are made from anodized aluminium. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish.

Aluminum is ideally suited to anodizing. The anodic oxide structure originates from the aluminum substrate and is composed entirely of aluminum oxide. This aluminum oxide is not applied to the surface like paint or plating, but is fully integrated with the underlying aluminum substrate, so it cannot chip or peel. It has a highly ordered, porous structure that allows for secondary processes such as coloring and sealing.

Anodized aluminium is considered environmentally safe, producing few, if any, harmful effects on land, air, or water.

We work with a selection of high-end manufacturers to keep the final products as consistent as possible, but slight variances in color may occur. Slight color variations are normal occurrences for anodized aluminium products and cannot be considered manufacturing defects or deficiencies.

Portapivot return policy

At Portapivot, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and experience. We hope that your expectations will be exceeded by our quality and products. If you are not satisfied with one of your finished products, please follow the steps outlined below so we can resolve the situation.

All shipped orders and its accompanied products are required to be inspected upon arrival. We advise all our customers to check the delivered Portapivot items immediately upon delivery by FedEx. Any specific investigations required in that respect should be carried out within 5 business days.

Return policy for off-the-shelf goods

If you are dissatisfied with the non-personalized, off-the-shelf items you purchased through Portapivot, please contact our customer service at info@portapivot.com within 14 working days after receiving your order by Fedex. We will accept the return of non-personalized products that are in their original, new, unopened and unused condition. Customer service will guide you through the appropriate steps to replace the product, or to return the product and receive a refund of the purchase price.

If your return is due to a defective or damaged product, we will reimburse you the return shipping costs. If your return is not due to a quality issue or manufacturing defect, we cannot reimburse the return shipping costs.

If you are returning one of our products, you should always consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing additional shipping insurance. Otherwise we can’t guarantee that we will actually receive your returned item.

Please note that each order you submit is completed with the current stock of anodized aluminium handles and accessories. If you are ordering multiple products for one client reference, we strongly encourage you to order all products as part of one order to minimize variations in color. We work with a selection of high quality manufacturers to keep the final products as consistent as possible, but slight variances in color may occur. Slight color variations are normal occurrences for anodized products and will not be considered manufacturing defects or deficiencies and will not qualify for a replacement product.

 

Return policy for personalized & made-to-measure items

If you are dissatisfied with your personalized, made-to-measure items, please contact our customer service at info@portapivot.com within 5 business days after receiving your order by FedEx. If a problem occurs, please send us the unique order reference so we can track the order and its production details. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

It is your responsibility to review your order and check your coordinated measurements before submitting it to us. Your order is specifically made for you, and therefore Portapivot cannot accept returns or refunds of personalized, made-to-measure products if the dissatisfaction is not due to an error or manufacturing defect caused by Portapivot. For instance, Portapivot cannot refund made-to-measure products if the issue is due to a wrong production measurement calculation, since its your responsibility to calculate the desired measurements and confirm these.

If you are returning one of our products, you should always consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing additional shipping insurance. Otherwise Portapivot can’t guarantee that they will actually receive your returned item.

SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the personalised online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
